Maison Margiela Replica By the Fireplace

Smoky Woods • Roasted Chestnut • Vanilla

By the Fireplace captures the irresistible warmth of sitting beside a crackling fire on a cold winter evening. It opens with a distinctive smoky accord of clove, pink pepper and orange blossom before revealing the fragrance’s signature heart — roasted chestnut wrapped in warm, woody notes.

As it settles, creamy vanilla, balsam and cashmeran soften the smoke, creating a rich contrast between burning wood and sweet, comforting warmth. Cosy, atmospheric and instantly recognisable, By the Fireplace manages to smell both genuinely smoky and deliciously gourmand without becoming overly sweet.
